SharpSpring contacted 130 marketing agencies to discuss the current state of email marketing. Using the information gathered, they created a report entitled, “Agencies Talk – State of Email Marketing.” The report covers a number of important topics including how agencies believe this type of marketing is doing, how different platforms are best evaluated, what objectives marketers have, and how to use automation to help reduce expenses and improve results.
The report found that the vast majority of marketers agree that email marketing, while one of the older digital marketing strategies, is still very effective. Perhaps more importantly, they also say that this type of marketing is continuing to improve over time.
Given that SharpSpring is a marketing automation firm, it is no surprise that their report found that one of the biggest things driving the improvements in this area is advanced automation tools.
