Piqora Acquired by Olapic for Visual Marketing Boost

The visual marketing platform, Olapic, has just recently confirmed that they are acquiring Piqora.  The two companies provide a variety of similar services, but combined they will be able to better influence their customers and provide additional insights.  Olapic is currently focused mostly on Instagram while Piqora is mostly used for Pinterest.  The combined company will, of course, be able to provide a fuller set of information to users.

Olapic CEO and co-founder, Pau Sabria commented on the deal saying, “The acquisition of Piqora merges two best-in-class technologies and creates the industry’s most powerful visual content marketing platform designed to help brands, CMSs, and social teams extract more value and drive revenue from content.  When brands have access and manageability of high-performing content at scale, it improves the cross-channel ROI and engagement with consumers.”

The exact specifications related to the acquisition have not yet been released.  They will likely begin integrating together in the coming months.
